The following teachers offer Dokusan on a regular schedule at the Chicago Zen Center. They also offer regular Dharma Talks.

Elie Jishin Nijm started training in Zen in the late 70s at the CZC. His first teacher was Roshi Bodhin Kjolhede, the current abbot of the Rochester Zen Center. For fifteen years he trained under the guidance of Sensei Ross until 2010.   Elie is ordained in the Three Jewels order and received permission to teach in 2007.  Elie is currently completing his koan training  with his old teacher, Roshi Kjolhede. Elie works part time as a psychologist.
